The school is not terribly difficult to get into, but in recent years the admissions department has been innundated with applications. Thus some qualified students who apply late in the admissions period do not get in. Apply early and there should be no problems, at least until the University ups its entrance requirements, which seems inevitable.

Before, it used to be to apply to the College of Agriculture because it was supposed to be the easiest to get in to. Now, it's reversed since so many people applied to get in based on that. If you want to get in, pick a major that isn't as popular here; chances are, you'll still get good professors (note: not talking about t.a.'s here, since those seem pretty much random), and you can switch majors once you get here. Pretty much evey class as a freshman fulfills some sort of requirement, so take classes you're interested in, too.
